John Grant es autor de más de setenta libros, entre ellos las novelas The World, The Hundredfold Problem, the Far-Enough Window y, más recientemente, The Dragons of Manhattan. Bajo su pseudónimo ha recibido dos Hugo Awards, el World Fantasy Award, el Locus Award, entre otros. Bajo su nombre verdadero ha obtenido el Chesley Award.
